As a young girl, I carried a receipt book filled with my written desires and wishes. I would write them out, keeping a copy to myself, and throwing away the other copy, trusting that the universe, God, whatever you want to call it, received it. Throwing it away was my way of indicating it was done. Ask and it has been given. I knew that with an unwavering conviction. You know how when you're in a restaurant, you place your order with the waiter(ess)? You don't sit there pondering how your meal is going to be delivered to you or when it will be. You just know and trust that it will be served. What if I told you that's how I've lived my whole life? I've always treated life like a catalogue in which I'm constantly and gratefully placing/receiving orders.
Below is my favorite ACIM (A Course In Miracles) quote:
The mind is very powerful, and never loses its creative force. It never sleeps. Every instant it is creating. It is hard to recognize that thought and belief combine into a power surge that can literally move mountains. It appears at first glance that to believe such power about yourself is arrogant, but that is not the real reason you do not believe it. You prefer to believe that your thoughts cannot exert real influence because you are actually afraid of them.
I'm here to tell you to follow your fucking bliss with all your might. Be you, unapologetically. There is nothing you cannot do as the co-creator of the universe with God. Through practicing ho'ponopono, I have annihilated my pesky ego, the voice inside all of us that wants to keep us small. It is key to erase the old thought patterns and self limiting beliefs we've brought into this lifetime. All limitation are self-created to propel us to the truth of who we are. There is no past. After all, the past is just a story we tell ourselves. If you were able to paint up this life with all its obstacles, imagine what you could do painting the Mona Lisa of your dreams! The sheer power of intent and taking 100% responsibility! YOU are the creator of your life, not a victim of circumstance. Everything was given to you. God gave you His gifts. What you do with them is your gift back to Him.
I'm writing this with overwhelming gratitude. I'm living my dream. I am eternally grateful for the setup I gave myself. Now you can make vision boards, future write in your journal, and cite mantras all day long but if you don't OWN who the fuck you are and that YOU are WORTHY of your God-given opulence, you are blocking your happiness. If you are being run by fear incessantly, it's no wonder you'll manifest all the negative thoughts swarming inside your head. Get to the core of it, get crystal clear about your vision and just go for it like your life depends on it. The world needs you in all your glory. You don't serve anyone by playing small.
Go after your dream life. Nothing is too grand. I came from poverty with zero connections and have had to hustle from here on up. I am a self made millennial with a passion to reignite in others the opulence within us. Place your orders and build those contracts. :)
