Recite This Mantra and Your Life Will Change

I love you

I’m sorry

Please Forgive Me

Thank you

For those of you who know me well, I am the least new age-y person. I can do without the psychobabble. I’m rather simple… I’m the universe’s best customer simply because I place orders everyday, constantly. I apply the law of expectancy to everything in my life. I get it, I get it, it’s the law of attraction. But let’s get down to the nitty gritty. You must wonder why LOA either works effectively or disastrously for people. Two things come to mind.  Firstly, people wrongly assume they can just write down their desires then sit back & smell the roses, expecting the universe to roll out the red carpet. People, there’s a reason why the word ACTION is in the word attraction! Secondly, people are attracting their subconscious wants all the time. For example, not getting your dream job because deep down, you're scared, you don't feel worthy, etc. Simple as that. So let me introduce you to the Law of Attraction on STEROIDS: Ho'oponopono. When you recite the four phrases above, you are petitioning the divine (God, Universe, whatever) to clean out your "data" (past programming/conditioning/though patterns) and it is DONE. Appeal to love and erase the data. Incorporate this into your life and the world is truly your oyster. To quote my husband, "Ho'oponopono is experiencing total faith and ecstasy without a thought in your mind."

Here are a couple of instances in my life where I've seen ho'oponopono (aka cleaning) work its magic.

A friend of mine was being really stupid with money and had a dangerously low amount in her bank account. I asked myself "what is it in me where I'm experiencing my friend being irresponsible with money?" I recited the mantra to myself that night. The next day, she texted me saying she got a check for $800.

Another friend of mine lost a decade worth of files on her computer through an unfortunate hack. She contacted Microsoft to no avail. Obviously it was a pretty worrisome situation. She had a group of friends practicing ho'oponopono on her situation and her files were restored to her within 72 hours.

Do you have that one person in your life that you just can't stand because they're  ______ (full of themselves, rude, wacky, etc). Has it every occurred to you that it's not about them but really about you? Your perception of others is a reflection of you. There is no out there out there. I'm telling you, the moment I'd practiced ho'oponopono on anyone who was pushing my buttons, I instantly realized it was never about them... that person was used as an instrument to bring up "stuff" inside me I hadn't dealt with, therefore I projected my feelings onto them. Try it, you'll be pleasantly surprised to see that the person who annoys the hell out of you is just as big of a light as you are :)

One sunny day in LA, I was at the gym waiting for my husband to finish his workout. A man rushed inside panicking because he lost his wallet. As I was witnessing this situation (a shared experience) I said the mantra and literally 10 minutes later, the manager of the gym retrieved the wallet for the now very relieved man.

Now if you don't believe any of the above, that is YOUR problem. It's only a tiny fraction of the miracles that have come out of ho'oponopono. I've applied it to people, events, projects, and even my own dog.

Though a life-changing mantra, it goes beyond that. Ho'oponopono is a lifestyle. You must practice it ceaselessly, it's not like church where you only "clean" on Sundays. Like I say all the time, God wants us to party. We just like to complicate things. The happiness you seek is much closer than you think. All you have to do is get out of your own way.

Love,

Cherie
