An All Too Brief Stay At London's West End Getaway Hotel, The Piccadilly

If you're reading this blog, I assume you have a penchant for the finer things in life. Well I found that in the form of a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of London.

The Piccadilly London West End hotel is a beautifully hidden luxury boutique hotel, nestled between Soho and Chinatown. They are part of the Park Grand London Hotels, a chain I haven't had the pleasure to stay in until this past week. This location speaks to my soul because I'm a theatre gal through and through and Soho is my favorite neighborhood in all of London. In this hotel, I feel at home. Here's an ultra mini review of my all too brief stay at the Piccadilly London West End hotel.

As you step in to the marbled lobby, the glass chandelier balls immediately catch your eye. In fact, it sets the tone for the rest of the hotel which is sheer elegance and style.

Check In / The Room

Unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy the experience of checking in (as I was flying into Gatwick later that afternoon) but Gregory arrived earlier from Russia and was graciously welcomed with a Junior Suite upgrade. London hotel rooms are generally small so thank you, Piccadilly Hotel, for the very much appreciated and lovely upgrade. However, when I did finally check in, I was greeted with a glass of Prosecco. Way to make me feel at home :)

Sadly, I had to rush on my usual hotel room video as I was on my way to a meeting but for those interested, get a load of this beautifully crisp and modern room!

It was unusually quiet being in the pulse of London but what do you know?! The windows are double, triple, glazed!

The decor spoke my language. The gold plush walls and pillows and modern, sleek finishes... a true urban sanctuary! The bed was absolutely dreamy and had to be my favorite spot. Having just flown in from NYC, I was craving those luxurious pillows.

In true Taurean fashion, I was chuffed to see the gorgeous bottle of Pierre Monte Prosecco and some chocolates + fruit basket. And no, I didn't drink and eat them all in one sitting :)

The bathroom was small but sufficient, stocked with Elemis bath products, a best seller in London. The floors were heated too which is always a lovely bonus!

Since it was such a brief stay, I did not get to enjoy all the amazing room amenities but I would like to point out one of the coolest ones: a free smartphone in every room, granting free international and domestic calls (in select countries).

Should I Stay Or Should I Go?

Considering London is my least favorite city, this hotel has clearly reignited my love for London. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful with everything. A special thank you to Katrina and Rita at the front desk for providing the utmost care and attention to our stay.

Guys, I have officially found my hotel residence in London. End of story :) See you next time, Piccadilly London West End - most likely in September.

Happy hotel hopping!
